Question : hi i wanted to ask dose antibodies against HIV and the p24 antigen test works good if after many years like 8 or more years after ?

Antibodies against HIV will be present throughout life if once infected since 6 weeks after the infection. But these antibodies are not adequate to either cure or to prevent reinfection. It will be helpful for the detection of the infection through tests.
P24 antigen will be able to be detected earlier in the presence of an infection, but not last for more than 6 months or so. Both have diagnostic value and not have any curative value. Antiretroviral drugs have to be started once diagnosed and those have a therapeutic value.

Non-reactive HIV PCR and 4th generation tests 12 weeks after the exposure is very much conclusive and confirmatory. If you remain Non-reactive for these tests even after 8 years of your exposure, it ascertained that you are free from HIV Infection. I hope you got the answer and enjoy your life.
