Question : hi there
my 5 year old recently had a flu and cough and has passed it onto me which i am suffering and have had it for 3 days now: sore throat, blocked and runny nose, headaches associated with nausea and blocked ears which are a bit sore. my partner also was rubbing vicks on my back and was making me feel quite nauseous as he was doing it. is this normal with a cold or flu to feel nauseous aswell?

I read your query and here is my advice.

I think you are having flu symptoms ,sorethroat, headache, blocked nose, blocked ears and nausea.
Having flu can make you nauseous as well.
Being congested and blocked ears can make you nauseous too.
I think you can use flu medications such Tylenol and also can use decongestants such pseudoephedrine, phenylephrine. Also you can use citerizine to help you relieve congestion.
