Thanks for asking, I've checked the picture...

If it is not raised, this looks like it might be an area of bleeding in your skin from having had trauma to the area (such as having bumped it).

It looks like there are some other areas on your hand that also have some minor bruising/bleeding too, to a lesser extent than the very purple area we are talking about.

How long have you had it, and are you on any kind of blood thinners?
