Question : Zantac just caused a urine slowdown how long will it take to go away? YYYY@YYYY
Brief Answer:
Rule out prostate enlargement and UTI
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Slow urinary stream is not likely to be due to Zantac. Given your age and symptoms, it is very important to get checked for possible prostate enlargement. An underlying urinary tract ingmfection can also trigger slow urinary flow.in a person with pre existing enlarged prostate. So, please be advised to follow up with your primary provider to undergo digital rectal examination to assess the prostate, urine analysis and culture.
Zantac will stay in your system.only for 12-24 hours following last dose.
