I have gone through your query. Antibiotics usually take 24 hours from the first dose to be able to see its effects.

For UTI's you will have some minimal symptoms or discomfort for 2 to 3 days. I would suggest you complete the antibiotic dose, drink 3 to 4 liters of water per day and citrus fruit juices.
