Answered by Dr. Dr. Gopal (26 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Could be arthritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
I am Dr Gopal Goel, Orthopedic Surgeon.
I have read the question that you have knee pain. You have not mentioned your age of duration of knee pain
Knee pain most commonly is due to Osteoarthrosis of the knee joint where the cartilage of the knee degenerates and is eroded, exposing sub cartilage tissue which is painful.
Treatment would depend on the cause and severity of disease. Pain killers and exercises are the mainstay of treatment. You can do hot fomentation and apply local pain killer cream also.
Please tell your age and details of pain for me to be of any further assistance.
Also get X rays of both knees AP(standing) and lateral views , CBC, S Vit D3 and S vitamin B12 levels.
Please feel free to ask any other question.
Thanks for the question
