I Am On The Medication Invega Trinza. I Have Been

Question: i am on the medication invega trinza. I have been recieving injections every 3 months. I now have lumps in the area where the needle was force injected into my body. I know have difficulty getting up from a seated position. My buttoks mustles are in pain and so are my hip joints. I think this medication is toxic. Should this medication be stopped?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you think that the injections are causing problems, then other formulation can be tried that maybe taken orally.
It is not the effect of medicine. It is either wrong injection technique or abscess formation at site of injection that is responsible. Wrong injection technique means that the injection may have been injected into some nerve. To rule out abscess, a USG of the injection site can be done. Also contact a surgeon to drain any lumps.

If medicine is controlling your symptoms then it can be continued.
