Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...
I've gone through your query in details...
I can understand your concerns...

Well, as per your description, it does seem like a UTI, so better to get a Urine routine analysis and culture sensitivity study (from the lab) to look into it further...

You may continue taking Pyridium AZO for the next 2-3days up to thrice daily for symptomatic relief...

Along with it, please drink plenty of water (around10 cups per day at least) and cranberry juice to help to flush out the infection. Avoid irritant foods like too much coffee, tea and carbonated drinks, some acidic fruits i.e. oranges, grapefruits, limes, spicy foods for the time being.

Based on how you stay afterwards, and the findings of urine analysis; specific antibiotic therapy may need to be started for a few days by your doctor...

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take Care
Kind Regards
