                                            Question : i had CT scan of abdomen and pelvis with oral and iv contrast due to abdominal pain.  im having tailbone pain coccyx area especially when i sit down.  i also have rectal ache and burn. i feel something soft outside rectum.  would the Ct scan have picked up a colon mass or a coccyx mass on spine?  im concerned...

The mass could probably represent a prolapse or an internal hemorrhoid.
It's advisable to consider a per rectal examination to identify the origin of the swelling and to determine it's nature and plan further course of management.
