Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Both EGD and Colonoscopy has been done.
Colonoscopy showed the following -
1. Grade II internal hemorrhoids
2. A fold in the sigmoid colon was inflamed. Sigmoid colon is part of the colon on the left side above the rectum. It appear red (inflamed). This is non specific and occur in a wide variety of conditions like due to bowel preparation for colonoscopy, infection, due to medications and inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis. But the microscopic examination did not show any features of inflammatory bowel disease. So this redness is an insignificant finding and can be ignored.
