Question : i had an angioplasty on 9th january 2019 but i had consumed alcohol for last month or so its bador what to do pls help

After going through the medical details provided by you I can understand your concern and I would like to tell you that it’s really not a good idea to consume alcohol while you are taking cardiac medications post angioplasty.

It’s advisable that just get an ecg done to rule out any changes happening. If currently you are feeling alright and there are no symptoms like chest discomfort or uneasiness then need not worry as of now.

You are quite young XXXXXXX just don’t mess around with your body if you want to send a good and quality life. Follow healthy lifestyle routine.

As I said earlier, it’s not advisable to consume alcohol while you are on medication.

After angioplasty if patient skips medications then the risk of stent blockage becomes high.

Kindly avoid drinking for atleast 6 months
