Would like to review the reports...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sudden shortness of breath is usually due to a heart / lung condition (obstructive airway). But you mentioned both heart and lung are checked and is all good. Therefore I would like to have more details about the problem.
1. Since when are you experiencing this problem?
2. How does it start - do you feel breathless at rest or during an activity like climbing flight of stairs / or just during routine activities?
3. Do you experience any other symptoms such as fever, cough, sweating, chest pain, etc?
4. Do you notice unusual swelling in your legs, face or abdomen?
5. Do you have diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid or any other past ailments?
6. May I know your age?
7. Can you upload the reports of complete blood count / X-ray or ECG done recently?
I would like answers to all these questions. It will help me evaluate your problem better.
Awaiting response...
Regards

Brief Answer:
ECG and Echo were normal
Detailed Answer:
Apologies for the late reply...
I have reviewed your attachment. You have Vitamin D deficiency and ECG plus echo are normal. The last attachment (ending with 696) was blank - couldn't review that.
Based on these details, I can say you have Vitamin deficiency and normal cardiac function. It doesn't explain the cause of breathing difficulty. May I know who suggested these test?
It would have been better if you had answered all my questions. I would be able to guide you better if I have more details about this problem.
So still awaiting your response. You may also clarify about the last test report.
Regards

Insufficient details to give you a personalised response...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Breathing difficulty is caused by multiple conditions. The common cause include pneumonia, cardiac failure, obstructive air way disease like COPD, bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, liver failure, renal failure, anemia, somatic illness (due to psychological factors) and so on. It is difficult to narrow down to the cause based on the very short history you gave. Moreover elevated WBC count could be due to infection and sometimes due to other medical condition (I do not know how elevated - the specific value).
The general check up you had only tells me that you have vitamin D deficiency and normal cardiac function. Vitamin D deficiency doesn't usually cause breathing difficulty and the echo almost rules out cardiac failure.
I understand your problem and wish to have a solution. Your doctor will be able to understand and evaluate the problem based on complete history, physical examination and investigation. If you weren't happy with your previous doctors evaluation, perhaps you should consult another specialist - pulmonologist may be. He/she may order further tests if deemed necessary and then suggest a specific treatment plan.
Hope it helps.
