Question : i have been asking for the last 2 days about having a vaginal itch. i beleive it is a bacteria infection. i am a 46 yr old sexually active wonen and just want someobe to respond. i have been using the monistat cream and the insert it gives me a relieve but i need a cure. can you prescribe me some type of antibiotic please.

It is possible that it could be an infection. You require further testing like pap smear and urinalysis etc to confirm the same. Unnecessary medicines could do more harm. You can continue the monistat for now and drink cleaner water. Use condoms during sexual intercourse.
