A flue is quite common, almost always caused by a virus that would most likely settle in few days itself without any treatment.

Yes, although the symptoms may be troublesome. It can cause multiple symptoms like dry Throat, cough and body aches.

There are a number of over the counter preparations like flue Eze, or cofcol, arinac etc. You may use them for the symptomatic relief. Rest it's going to be alright in a few days.

Please avoid strenuous exercise for a few days and take more and more fluid.
See your doctor if you feel any difficulty in n breathing (which is unlikely).
