Fourderm for longer duration is not recommended
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to Ask a Doctor Service.
Fourderm is not recommended for long use, it is useful for initial control, after 10 to 15 days, it is best to switch over to a cream that contains only an antifungal like ketoconazole (KZ cream).
You must apply this antifungal cream for at least 6 weeks, twice daily, without fail.
Most importantly, you must ensure that the area is not kept moist.
The skin must be dry, so make sure to change undergarments at least twice a day.
You must boil all your undergarments for at least 45 minutes and dry them in sun well.
If the area involved is large, then a topical cream may not be very helpful, a systemic agent like fluconazole should be taken under the guidance of your treating physician.
Please discuss with your dermatologist and proceed further.
Hope that helps.
Best regards
