Brief Answer:
hold off solids, probiotics, fluids

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Diarrhea is most commonly caused by infection (usually viral) of the intestines.
In most persons, the infection resolves on its own in 7 to 10 days.

It is important not take medication to stop the diarrhea eg lomitil or peptobismol because they can sometimes stop the infection from clearing because they cause the bowel to retain the virus/bacteria.

Probiotics help restore the normal bacteria to the colon and would shorten the course of diarrhea.

Using enough fluids would be important to prevent dehydration

Hold off solids while the diarrhea is occurring, if you eat solid food before your bowel is ready, it makes the diarrhea worse and may delay healing.
When 4 hours pass with no diarrhea, then you can start with dry foods-small amounts

If these are tolerated, then the food type and amount can be changed

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
