I Have Had Every Once In A While In The

Question: i have had every once in a while in the same spot a think it was a Stye just under my upper lid. it would get red swollen in about a week resolve itself. This time it got red and swollen and popped in about a week but this time its not going away. its beem about a month. I went to my GP and he thinks its a chalazion cyst. He prescribed antibiotic and a topical cream. I am five days into the treatment and its about 20%25 of the size it was and feeling better. My meds will be done in about two days. I have been putting heat on it and and cleaning it with baby shampoo. if its not all gone in two days what should I do. I do remember that my dad had trouble with his upper eyelid just like me. I am in pretty good health. I am 71 but I do have type two diabetes.

My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
This is now a non resolving style ,which may take a longer to settle down.Infllammation is now gone as you are not having pain but swelling remains.
Cleaning and ointment application at bed time for about two weeks will resolve the swelling.We suggest removal in non resolving ones but we want to give it a couple of weeks time.
I presume your sugar is under control.
