Infection nay be cause.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
The main reason for urinating at night (nocturia) is urinary track infection or bladder infection.
You may need to do firstly an urine analysis and uroculture to check for infection and kind of bacteria which is causing it.
This infection is usually treated with antibiotics which come out of antibiograme.
Also diabetes may make you to urinate at night. Getting tested for diabetes doing fasting glucose test and post prandial glucose levels is advisable.
Also the sphincters may weaken by menopause and multiple births.
Also you can follow dome advices to help you.
* don't eat and drink tea or other drinks past 7 pm.
* don't use coffee, alcohol, energy drinks etc which can make it worse
* use cranberry juice or tea during day
*use ibuprofen before sleep.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
