Podowart contains podophyllin resin. It is a medication used for treatment of genital warts. Most common side effect is irritation and ulceration. In that case, did continue podowart. Use a topical antibiotic e.g either Neosporin ointment or Mupirocin ointment (T Bact ointment) for a few days till the skin gets back to normal.
