Question : i have vaginal pain and burning i have had uti but my urine test are clear pain is still there. iam 83 thank you XXXXXXX

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Here is the advice.

As per your history, I think it may be due to age related vaginitis i. e. postmenopausal atropic vaginitis.

Please let me know do you have fever, per vaginal discharge or bleeding, lower abdominal pain, frequency or burning of micturation? Kindly follow up with detailed history.

Otherwise for atropic vaginitis which causes due to vaginal dryness because of decreased estrogen level, you can use over the counter vaginal moisturizer like XXXXXXX restore, replens, coconut oil or aloe Vera.

You can also use estrogen cream like Estrace after physician consultation. Use loose fitting cotton clothes. Avoid other irritant personal care products.

Hi thank you for answer no i don't have fever ,discharge, or bleeding only the pain and burning when urinating and all the time recently in the past week.Hope this help you will get some cream and continue with my doctor after the weekend thank's again XXXXXXX
