Question : i have very bad abdo pain which feels very similar to when i had endometritis years ago resulting in a hysterectomy

i still have my ovaries. i had the hysterectomy in 2003 due to many lapoectomy surgies.

It could be due to Adhesions

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Adhesions are formed in the Abdominal cavity after any Surgery.Loops of bowel or Omental fat gets adherent to the Scar site or Vaginal vault leading to pain.
You should get an Ultrasound abdomen, Plain X-ray Abdomen in erect posture.They will give a clue.
Till investigations,I prefer Antispasmodic tablet containing Dicyclomine and Proton pump inhibitor like Rabeprazole to my patients.
