Question : i take 100mg of losartan pottasium and 50mg atenolol and a baby aspirin daily.
but today my bp has been consistantly high from 140/100 to as high as 189/110.
can i just take more medication or should i go to the hospital which wont be for another hour and a half when i get off work.

Yes with a blood pressure more than 180/100 it’s always advisable to seek medical attention always few tests needs to be done as a part of basic cardiac evaluation to rule out any associated abnormality.

Tests included: Ecg, echocardiogram, blood tests like CBC, KFT etc.

Kindly visit the emergency of any near by good hospital and get yourself evaluated.
