I Take The XXXXXXX Dosage Of Alprazolam Daily 4mg. I
Question: i take the XXXXXXX dosage of alprazolam daily 4mg. i rarely drink however it was a celebratory occasion. can the high dose of alprazolam and alcohol combo cause me to have a fucntional blackout?

Both alcohol and alprazolam are nervous system depressants and when you combine both, amplifies the effects of one another.
As you are on high dose alprazolam, alcohol may result in severe respiratory depression which can be fatal rarely. However small amount of alcohol generally will not cause any problem.
