I Want To Operation For Kidney Stone At Kankavali City

Please provide few more details .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments
1) What is the location of stone whether in Kidney or Ureter ?
2) What is the size of stone ?
Operation for kidney stone is done by following four methods
1) Open Surgery -This is old method carried out for over a centuries where kidney is explored through a 6-8 inches long incision over flank and stone from the kidney is removed .This is a major surgery and needs hospitalization for a week followed by a complete rest for 2-3 weeks .This can be done by General surgeon or Urologist .
2) Per Cutaneous Nephro Lithotomy (P.C.N.L)-
This is a minimal invasive endoscopic procedure(Surgery) done for kidney stone of a size of 2 cms or more and is performed by a specialist called Urologist and is done by a small hole on the back through which an endoscope (Nephroscope ) is passed in to kidney and stone is fragmented in to small pieces which are removed through the endoscope .This is minimally invasive surgery and needs hospitalization only for 3 days .One can resume his/her routine work within a week .This is a gold standard method practiced Today.
3) Extra Corporeal Shock Wave lithotripsy (E.S.W.L)-
This is non invasive procedure and does not require anesthesia and is carried out as out patient procedure but ususally practiced for stone oa size of less than 2 cms .This requires special machine and is available only at few centers usually at district places.
4) Uretero Renoscopy( U.R.S)
This is performed by a well trained Urologist and is performed for stone located in ureter where an endoscope is passed through penis up into ureter and stone is fragmented in to small pieces and removed .This is also minimally invasive surgery and needs hospitalized for 2 days .
Since Kankavali is a small town in Ratnagiri district of XXXXXXX you have to find out availability of Surgeon or Urologist there and whether any ESWL machine is there or not else you can consult Urologist in Ratnagiri for further treatment
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
