Brief Answer:
may be residual infection

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Residual pain in the pelvis after an UTI implies that an implies that some of the infection is still present.

All of the symptoms would normally resolve successfully with treatment.

There are some persons who develop interstitial cystitis , which is cystitis that (inflammation of the bladder ), that is not related to infection.
Because you were diagnosed with infection based on a check on the urine (assuming it was assessed), this is not likely the case for you

Interstitial cystitis is linked to allergies, trauma to the bladder, genetic factors, autoimmune conditions (lupus, RA etc), trauma to the spinal cord etc

It would be best, if the pain continues, to be reassessed. The urine may need to be sent to the lab again to check for residual infection

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
