Question : i was disgnosed with helicobacter pylori infection in the stomach. before that the doc had 1st prescribed Linzess 72mcg,,Pantropazole Sodium 40mg, and Cifrofloxacin HCL 250(finished dosage) as xray showed my stool was backed up, i went in due to tightness in upper stomach rib area and back pain. then after testing positive for h pylori, im still taking the Linzess and pantropazole but then new additional meds are Clarithromycin 500 mg and Amoxcillian 500mg. About an hr after i take all meds i have bowel movements but they are very watery, some of the stool appears to be brownish but its mostly yellowish water. I had to go 5 times today in a row to bathroom, 1 i could not get to the toilet in time, so much diarrea is scaring me and no hard stools im trying to drink alot of water. should i keep taking all until i see the doc in two weeks? this is day 3 with new meds. im having anxiety and what feels like pain in chest which i think are symptoms of the infection.

The loose motions you are having are a side effect of drug Amoxicillin.
One of the most common side effects of Amoxicillin is loose stools.
Though the doses used in the eradication of H.pylori are 1000 mg a day but you are on 500 mg per day.
Stopping medicine does not make sense I would suggest you take over the counter Imodium 4 mg thrice daily initially and then as and when required to control loose motions along with it take a probiotic daily like Econorm.

This doesn't seem like infection dear.
It's as said earlier is the commonest side effect of Amoxicillin.
