                                            Question : ive been having loose stool for 5 months now and diffuculty passing gas sometimes i have to helpit come out. i went to er because i had groin pain and frequent urination and saw blood in stool. they did blood work and ct with contrast. it came back with just early signs if divertiuli and gallstones. my question is im having anal discomfort and leakage which is scaring me id there was some mass or something in my anus would that be picked up on a ct scan. i do have a follow up with a gi doctor.

                                    I am 31 female I’ve just had blood work and ct scan with and without contrast. I have never had a colonoscopy. The ct should diverticulosis and gallstones

CT scan has ruled out anything significant.
But if you still feel there is some mass in the anorectum, a digital rectal examination and also a sigmoidoscopy may be done.
