Question : ive had hyperacidity in my stomach which has caused on and off gastritis for 15 years.
I also struggle with anxiety which my dr%E2%80%99s say could be the cause of my stomach issues.
anyway, my latest freak out is something ive dealt with before, percieved urinary type issues.
though we have no inccidence of prostate cancer in my family tree, all of my brothers, my dad and my grandfather get prostititis(non bacterial).
i got stressed out several weeks back and for a few days it seemed like i couldnt relax to urinate but after talking with my brothers they said its likely just what theyve all had so give it a few days.
that same day i relaxed and everything was normal.
i have no flow issues with my urine stream but ive felt a tightness in my perinium. i have no pain or erectile issues either. other than tightness off and on in my taint area that comes and goes i have no symptoms of anything.
im so freaked out now ive gravitated to noticing my testicals arent the same size, which im positive ive noticed for years(again, nothing crazy like swelling or pain).
sorry for the long story but my question is,
if i had something wrong with my prostate wouldnt i usually have flow issues with it?
My GP said he didnt think i needed a rectal exam and thought it was stress. he also said most men actually have testicals that differ in size.
he told me to relax for a few weeks.

                                    Brief Answer:
Yes, usually prostate problems may have urine flow issues.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and here is my advice.
Yes, you are right as prostate problems are usually associated with urine flow issues.
Along with that in prostate issues, you may have fever, weak urine flow, pain around private parts, painful urination. Kindly watch for such symptoms.
In that case you may require urine culture sensitivity test with physician's review with detailed medical examination.
Usually testicles size differ in size. There is no need to worry unless having testicular discomfort or pain.
Let me know I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale.

                                    Urinalysis was normal.
The last time I had urinary type symptoms was when I had a gastritis flare up and was drinking caffeine on a consistent basis.
My brothers who have dealt with prostate inflammation said they noticed added caffeine made issues worse.
I have one brother who actually had some type of painful spasm in his perineal area off and on for years.
Doctors just guessed that it was a spasm of the pelvic floor muscles

Hello,
Thank you for reply.
As urine analysis report is normal and don't have any symptoms at present, that's good.
In that case tightness may be due to muscle spasm. Kindly watch for other symptoms as explained in previous answer.
Let me know I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale.
