Question : last week on Thursday i felt a discomfort around my vagina . at first i thought it was my toilet paper as it would itch when i wiped from using the bathroom. sunday i decide to see what was going on and from what i could see , there was this white creaminess . i did look on google to see what it was . from the what i could pin point i had a yeast infection (first time ive ever had one) then i look up home remedies the one that sounded reasonable and affordable at this time was greek yogurt. so the past 4 days ive been eating greek yogurt and taking my AZO cranberry pills along with drinking cranberry juice. it has calm down the discomfort and the itchness a bit. the white creaminess is gone from what i can tell . but the itch still reminds ... what else can i do to feel "normal" again ?

It is good to know that the problem is getting better with cranberry pills. So I will ask you to continue the same for few more days. In addition, I will also suggest you drink plenty of fluids. If you are very sure the symptoms relate to yeast infection you may also want to try an antifungal agent like Lotrimin cream. From what I am aware of, lotrimin is available over the counter.
If you are sexually active, I will also request you to avoid sexual activity until you get better. Maintain good hygiene. And if possible get your blood sugar tested.

i am 28 years old , i am not sexually active right now , it been almost two yeara since i last did sexual intercourse. as for testing my blood sugar , i am diabetic type 2 (so i am on metformin 2Ã a day). but like i stated this is the first time ive had this , i had a really bad UTI almost 3 years ago and thats when i started taking the cranberry supplements as i do not want to have an UTI again . fluids are always consistent, especially water . thank you for your response !

Since you never had any type of pain while urinating I don't see this to be heading towards an urinary infection especially when you been maintaing good hygiene. Nevertheless cranberry supplements and hydration will benefit you.
As far as the itching is concerned, antifungal agents like Lotrimin is extremely helpful especially if the symptoms are typical of fungal infection. If the itching is still bothering you, I would consider using it.
Lastly, though this is your first experience with itching / white creamy discharge I will urge you to get blood sugar tested especially if the last test was some time ago (more than 3 months back).
