after examining, it is attached to the testicle and feels like it may be half of an inch thick and one inch long. painful to touch but nothing over bering. some swelling at times. lump seems to be bigger although the testicle it self seems like the swelling has reduced. oblong in shape.
Brief Answer:
epididymal cyst more likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the relevant details.
* As per the detailed description, it sounds more likely to be possible epididymal cyst
near the testis - a completely benign condition.
* It is suggested to get a doppler ultrasound examination done for the swelling
evaluation by appointment with your family doctor.
* At present no active intervention or medications are recommended.
Avoid wearing tight undergarments.
Though ice application and analgesic when more pain will help for relief.
Wish you best health.
Regards.
