                                            Question : met with an accident before 10 year but only ligament injury in neck but i feel neck pain now its going downward in my spine i feel some swelling like knots in 2 bones of spine one in lumber bone right side and one near middle of spine how to treat this pain i tried many mr and painkiller but they give releif temporary mri shows no soft tissue injury nothing comes in xray i tried many hospitals please sujjest me beyond these medicines and xray please tell me permanent treatment i also tried phsiotherapy

There is possibility of unstable cervical spine injury.
Avoid bending neck forwards, backwards or side to side for now.
It would be best to get an MRI cervical spine to rule out possible ligament injury. Do consult a Neurosurgeon if possible.

If you have pain in the lumbar region, it's best to get TENS therapy. It helps profusely in such back pain.

The other option is Short Wave Diathermy or SWD. It has good efficacy for usual muscular back pain. Do discuss with your Physiotherapist about SWD.
