Hi.
Thanks for our query about your 2.5 year old daughter.
Noted the history well and understood the concerns.
Hard, lumpy and dry BMs indicate that there is ''fecolith (stone like)'' formation in color and rectum. When the colonic movement tries to evacuate the person will feel the pain as too much spasm causes pain.
Feeling hard lump in the right lower abdomen is usually due to fecolith in cecum area of large bowel unless proved otherwise in a child of 2.5 years.
This can be easily diagnosed by X-ray of abdomen and ultrasonography.
