Question : my 6 year old and I were in a swimming pool at a hotel. when we were leaving we noticted a band aid at the bottom of the pool right under the ladder.
if my son or i stepped on it would there be any risk for blood borne disease like HIV or Heppitas. I would assume bring at the bottom of the pool the water and chlorine would have killed anything.
just concerned

HIV virus becomes inactive outside the human body in an open environment and there is no possibility of Hepatitis B or any other blood borne infection through the expsoure you had mentioned so don't get worried, forget the episode and live your life normally because you and your son are absolutely safe and risk free.
Thank You
