Question : my ankles are swollen, and my skin is tight and red after sunburn. very painful.

It could be Cellulitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per your description,it looks like Cellulitis, i.e.infection of skin and subcutaneous tissue.Here,the affected area will be red, swollen and painful.
I prescribe Antibiotic like Linezolid tablet 600mg twice daily after food,Anti inflammatory tablet containing Aceclofenac to my patients with similar complaints.
The affected limb should be elevated.
Do not apply any ointment over the affected area.
Please consult a Surgeon and get appropriate prescription.
Nothing to worry.It will come down.
