Brief Answer:
He seems fussy eater

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In the age of 1y6m, babies usually have adult like foods. But their main meals still have softer foods like cereal in milk, biscuit in milk etc. Give him the foods that he likes.
Following precautions can be taken:
Give him food only after 3 hrs of previous meal.
Give him milk after solid food.
Give him water in a sippy cup or with straw.
Get him checked for nutritional deficiencies like iron or calcium. Blood iron, calcium, vitamin D, vitamin B12 levels can be checked.
Add some cream to his milk before sleeping.

We have a choice of what to feed. Babies have a choice of how much to feed. We cannot force them to eat a food that they dont like.

You can also get a personalised diet plan for your baby. You may log into "Active Health App"
using this link: http://onelink.to/activhealth-hcm
and raise a diet request by filling the diet request form. Our dietitians on the panel will answer the same in detail.

Hope that helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
