My Daughter, 2 Years Old, While Playing Get Very Minute
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: My daughter, 2 years old, while playing get very minute cuts on her skin, which later turns into patches of 5x the initial size. There is no infection/puss in those wounds, at least not visibly. I also clean them regularly. Could you suggest any medicine that can be applied? Should I take her to a doctor/hospital and show directly?
Brief Answer:
Ointment mupirocin
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for the query and photographs.
It looks like impetigo, a superficial bacterial infection.
Apply ointment mupirocin twice daily for a week.
This should help her.
There is no need to panic.
You can wait for a week and see the response of mupirocin.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
