Question : my father has weeping edema and now it seems like maybe his legs are weeping urine? is that possible? Hes been hospitalized for SEPSIS cellulitis 5 times within the last 6 months. His legs are very swollen which is normal but now one of his legs is having pain on the upper thigh and now that area looks red and purplish.

I read your query and here is my advice.

It may be possible that her legs are weeping water in cases of severe edema.
He is taking lots of medications and I can't add anything else. The pain may come as the nerve may be compressed. The pain and purplish colour may be significant for impairment circulation.

Yes I understand the circulation problem but my question was.. is it possible for urine to be weeping out of his legs? Because the fluid that’s weeping from his legs smells like urine

Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
Not exactly as you say it.
Urine is only formed in kidneys after filtration so urine can't be weeping from legs.
If he has the urine smell together with swelling in legs the kidney function may be impaired and the smell may come as result of nitrogen accumulation in body.
There is also a possibility of him having cellulitis again since he has discolouration and weeping in legs.
