Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!
I understand your concern and would explain that as the pain is triggered by body movements it could be indicative of a musculoskeletal pain.
Anyway, considering his age and his past medical history for diabetes, I would recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:
- a red ECG and cardiac enzymes
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR
- a chest X ray
- D dimmer plasma levels for pulmonary embolism.
In the meantime I recommend giving him Tylenol for the pain.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards,
Dr.Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
