Question : my husband is deteted with fatty liver recently in mri scan. what care/medication should be taken?

Weight reduction if obese is must.

Fatty liver is usually due to excess body fat which is deposited on liver tissue.
It is reversible condition.
Best treatment is weight loss if patient is obese.
Alcohol intake should also be avoided if patient is taking alcohol.
So please let me know
1. Is he obese?
2. Does he drink alcohol?

Medications are usually not required if patient starts weight loss and alcohol deaddiction.
