Brief Answer:
Can be intestinal spasms but ultrasound may be needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to Ask a doctor forum. Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, the pain seem to be due to intestinal spasms caused by any local inflammatory changes in intestine due to any toxin or infection exposure however other causes due to any visceral involvement should be ruled out by a detailed abdominal ultrasound as well as X-ray erect abdomen.

If any altered bowel habits are being experienced like constipation or diarrhea should also be managed as well.

Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen alongwith anti spasmodic like drotavarine can be helpful for symptomatic relief. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
