Question : my son has cold from 5days n mild cough from 2 days ... have given him half a tablet of recofast twice a day from last 3 days

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

He can be switched to milder medicine like cetrizine syrup once daily dose. And watch his symptoms. Flu is going around and also coronavirus. Rest and warm fluids needed. Isolate the kid from other family members. During cold and cough, immunity of a person decreases. If chest congestion suspected then amoxicillin maybe needed after consulting doctor.
