Question: my wife is under early pregnancy period. she is under going tremendous amount of body pain. not able to sleep.
on Saturday we had done the scan for pregnancy. the heart beat was not yet seen. she is in 5th week
what could be the cause of the body pain. is it normal in this phase? can painkiller be taken at this stage

After going through the medical details provided by you I can very well understand your concern for your wife’s health and her pregnancy and yeah I would like to tell you that fatal cardiac it to Bitti usually develops during 5th to 7th week of pregnancy so if there is still no cardiac activity You guys just need to wait for another week.
Yes many women do experience generalised body ache or weakness during early pregnancy which is normal.
It’s advisable not to consume any medications during early pregnancy as feral organs are in development during this stage. She can take hot water bath and use hot water bottle For symptomatic relief. However if this doesn’t help then taking the help of your treating gynaecologist is highly advisable.
