Brief Answer:
Wait for the medication to work

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to “Ask a doctor”.

I understand your concern. If this is a first time occurrence then I’d say wait for the medication to work and see if it is effective. If you have had increased gas and bloating lately and frequently, the first step is to remove pulses and certain vegetables, such as broccoli, from your diet, do some light physical activity (walking is best) and increase the daily amount of water intake.

If despite these measures, you don’t experience relief then I advice you see a doctor for an in person examination.

I hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
