Treatment of Piles depends on the Grade.
In Grade1 &2 Piles will be inside.Bleeding will be the only complaint.Here,we ask the Patient to take high fiber diet,drink plenty of liquids.Alcohol,Red meat to be avoided.
Fresh fruits and Green leafy vegetables should be taken.
Stool should be soft.If the stool is still hard,I prescribe Laxative Syrup containing Polyethylene glycol.
In Grade 3&4,Piles will come outside.At this stage, Surgery should be done.
Please consult a General Surgeon/Surgical Gastroenterologist and proceed further.
