Brief Answer:
Probably benign lesions

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.

Considering your description, there is no need to be worried since there are no signs of malignant disease considering the fact that there was no significant size increase and no features of cancer in mammograms.

This is indicating possible fibroadenoma, inflammation or cyst.
I understand your concerns but as I see you do regular follow-ups and such small cysts very rarely become malignant.

If you want to be sure, you can do MRI or needle biopsy, but I don't think this is necessary at this point and all you need is a yearly ultrasound follow up.

Wish you good health.
Regards

Thank you should I be worried about the microcalcifications that are associated with the cyst or fibro cystic changes. Can these microcalcifications turn to cancer and can the fibro cystic disease also turn to cancer. This area she said was very very small 3mm and 4 mm .I have another diagnostic mammogram in August 2020 the Raidiologist said 1 year but I wanted 6 months.

Brief Answer:
Follow up

Detailed Answer:
She said it because in medicine there is no 100%, but in some cases we can be pretty sure that lesion is not cancerous.

Microcalcifications are sign of cyst, inflammation or fibriadenoma and only if it is associated with larger lesions with irregular contours, then malignancy may be suspected.

It rarely turns into cancer, almost never, but follow up is required. If you do a mammogram as adviced, then there is no chance of something bad to happen.

If you get more calcification is this normal or a sign of cancer.

Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
No, generally it is not sign of cancer, and in future more calcifications may occur in same area as a result of inflammation and aging. However, if calcifications occur in different area and become associated with lesions larger than 0.5cm then it may signify something more serious.
