                                    Brief Answer:
No need to go to ER, take acetaminophen or ibuprofen, meet GP tomorrow.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I don't think you need to go to ER now.
You can take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for fever and pain and wait until tomorrow morning to meet your GP. He will perform a physical examination to check the pimple you popped and also shine a light on your throat and tonsils to see if it is red, tonsils swollen and infected.
He will determine if you need to take antibiotics or not. Also he will disinfect the pimple with alcohol and betadine.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
