Brief Answer:
Normal report

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

I have seen the attachment. Some parameters are somewhat outside normal range. Sttill I will consider it as normal report.
Low urea, high LDL and HDL, low hemoglobin donot require any intervention as they are only slightly outside normal range.
Regarding prediabetic condition, you may reduce sugar intake and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Regular walk or another exercise is needed. You may regular check your blood sugar levels at home with a glucometer. Otherwise, medicine is not currently required.

Mucous in ruine is also there, which could be due to inflammation or local infection. Are there any symptoms of burning in urination or fever?

Dr Vaishalee

Thanks Doctor.
She does light exercise and yoga regularly. Will suggest to add some light cardio as well.
She didn't have any fever for quite a while and there is no burning in urination.
Is the mucus in urine of any concern?

Brief Answer:
Mucous expels germs

Detailed Answer:
Hi again
Mucous in itself is not a problem as it helps expel dead cells and germs.
It just indicates that there maybe some inflammation or infection. Many times it maybe due to contamination of sample or it clears by itself, so a repeat urinalysis maybe helpful.
Meanwhile she may drink cleaner water.
Is she getting any vaginal discharge? Is she taking any medicines or herbs?

Regards,
Dr Vaishalee

Hello Doctor.

Yes. She is having irregular vaginal discharge for last one month. She's taking a multi-vitamin for over a year now. Other than green tea (if you consider it in herb), she is not taking any other herbs.

Brief Answer:
Can test for the discharge

Detailed Answer:
Hi again
The mucous in urine maybe from vaginal discharge. You may get the following tests: Urinalysis and pap smear. Pap smear is done by gynecologists. It helps in finding the cause in cervix for discharge.
Try discontinuing the multivitamin and herbal tea and see if the vaginal discharge gets better.

You may send the photos of the multivitamin and herbal tea to me for review.

Hello Doctor.

I've attached the photo and composition of the multi-vitamins. The green tea is of a locally available without any brand name which she is taking over 4-5 years now.

Brief Answer:
Pap smear to be done

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for reverting with details.

Although the attached supplements seem harmless, its better to limit their use. Take only when needed.

She can see a gynecologist for finding the cause of vaginal discharge.
