Question : Recently I have noticed I have been getting these tender spots on my scalp. About a month ago I noticed a tender spot on the back of my head when I rest my head on the pillow. I can’t really feel it unless I push on it. It went away in a couple of days. Then this morning I noticed two tender spots, one above my ear and another on the back of my head. Again, can’t feel it unless I push on it. It feels almost like a bruise.

Brief Answer:
It can be folliculitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

It would be better if you uploaded a photo of the bumps or tender spots in order that I can see them.
I believe it can be inflammation or infection of the hair follicles called folliculitis or dermatitis.
I believe you can use topical antibiotics such fusidic acid, steroids lotions or even oral antibiotics.
If possible visit a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
