Question : so. i went the doctors today amd was told my lymph node on the left collar bome was fine he checked all my vitals and said my oxygen levels where perfect etc... i have stoll had slight pain in my soulder and neck on my left sode bit i belivee that is down to sleeping awfully, will my lymph node dissapear im a few weeks by itself or will it be there forvever ?

It depends on cause

Hi and welcome to ask a doctor.
It is hard to say how long will enlarged lymlh node persist because it depends on exact cause of node enlargement. In case of infection as a cause, it should dissappear from few weeks to 2,3 months. If there was mononucleosis or similar infection then it may persist for more than 6 months. Also, sometimes it may be enlarged for longer period or have periods of enlargement and shrinkage. If some serious issues such as lymphoma are ruled out then you should not worry because it should not cause any symptoms. I also doubt that this node is causing shoulder pain since in this case it should be very large node which compress shoulder nerves. It would be good to do node and shoulder ultrasound to see if there is such pathology. Wish you good health. Feel free to ask further questions.
