Question : Hello dr Sharka I woke up this morning with tenderness and pain in right side of jaw joint I am currently set to see the dentist on Monday but wanted to make sure this is not cardiac related all other vitals are normal hr 76 kardia normal sinus rhythm blood pressure 126/76 if I place my have on it it hurts any suggestions
Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are not related to the heart.
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
I think that this kind of pain is not related to the heart, considering the fact that there was no shortness of breath, no changes in your blood pressure or heart rate values.
I think that this pain could be costochondritis. Does it hurt when you put manual pressure on this point or during body movements? This could indicate costochondritis.
In such case taking ibuprofen twice daily can help.
Hope you will find this information helpful!
Wishing all the best,
